Web Sites
The Web as a design medium is evolving rapidly. We approach design for the Web accordingly. It must be appropriate for your organization and your audience, have movement to get the viewer going in the right direction, employ smooth and logical transitions between the pages, and, in some cases, provide sound. The role of the graphic artist for the Web has become similar to that of the artistic director and editor in film or television. The Nicayla approach is to keep things clean, pertinent, targeted, and engaging.
Brand Identity
A great logo captures the spirit of a company. We develop logos, business cards, and stationary that speak volumes about a company, before anyone's had a chance to say anything. We think of a logo as your ambassador, your royal symbol. It must impart the right message, tell the world about your attitude and your goals, and stand out from the crowd of logos we see every day. It must be legible and effective in even the most compromised situation-for example, when printed in a small career recruitment ad in a newspaper. And it must be lasting.
Print Advertising
The trick with design for print advertising is to catch the eye, hold it, direct it to the right information on the page or poster, and effect a reaction in the viewer with a visual or textual statement or pun. When designing for print, we aim for simplicity and cultural acuity-whether we're speaking in the cultural context of a specific target market or the general society. As well, an important consideration when designing for print is the placement. Where will this design appear? What other designs or environments will be adjacent? We make sure that our ad designs are seen in a favorable light.
Multimedia Presentations
We believe that designing for presentations is the art of subtlety and influence. It must be sensitive to the needs of the speaker, and support, not overwhelm, the message. From electronic brochures to video Web presentations, we design using our technology with strategy and aplomb.
